They may also become more aggressive over time, which can be dangerous if they're in a smaller tank with too many other fish that are not as big or strong as them.

5.     Stress

Stress can be caused by many things like overcrowing or poor water conditions. However, the pressure will make your fish aggressive and weaker. So, if your betta is fighting a lot for no apparent reason, try to change its tank decorations or conditions.

6.     Due to Eggs Protection

Betta fish are very territorial and will fight for their territory. They will also fight for their part if they feel threatened. Betta fish will fight over females, food, and other male betta fish in the area. They do not care about the eggs or fry at all. So, if your betta is pregnant, placing them separately before they start fighting is better.
